There's no prouder moment for a parent than watching their child perform in a Christmas show or nativity.
Whether taking a lead role as Mary or Joseph, or twinkling their tiny fingers as a shining star, it's a moment for families to treasure.
We asked you to send in your Christmas show and nativity pictures and you happily obliged.
We've had some wonderful sparkling stars and some pretty impressive shepherds.
Sadly not all have been happy in the limelight.
Our main photo shows little Jasper Glenister as a reluctant shepherd in the Early Years nativity at Cale Green Primary School in Stockport.
The five-year-old his pictured with his best friend Beatrice McEneaney, four, who is a little happier playing an angel.
Jasper's mum Jill said: "Jasper hates performing. He did really well though and took part in all of the songs and said his lines - to my relief - but then refused to pose for a photo. He’s definitely a reluctant performer.
"Of course I cried. I was a very proud mummy in spite of the huffy photo."
Three-year-old Albie Grinsted didn't seem too impressed to be dressing up either.
His mum Charlotte could barely catch a glimpse of him performing at Cheadle Primary School.
Thankfully she managed to get a clearer shot of daughter Poppy, as Mary.
