Merseyside is getting into the festive spirit and a great way to celebrate the start of the season of goodwill is to attend a Christmas lights switch on.
There are plenty of them happening across the region and many of the events are offering lots more attractions for you and your family and friends to enjoy.
Some events will be offering fairs, a chance to meet Santa Claus, grottos, live music and more.
