Christmas Jumper Day: The jumper that is used for beer pong

Anyone a fan of Christmas jumpers? Beer pong?

One venue has dedicated their love for both by releasing complimentary limited-edition jumpers that will go down in the history books.

As today marks Christmas Jumper Day, bowling alley Lane 7 have put their own wacky spin on Christmas jumpers by launching their ‘DecemBeer Pong’ game.

In the past, Lane 7 has been known to create modern takes on popular games since 2013 which resulted in show-stopping activities such as UV beer pong, graffiti bowling, and crowd karaoke.

This time, they aim to incorporate the competitive element of beer pong as guests can collect the jumpers by being one of the first 5 groups in a Lane7 venue to ask members of staff to play DecemBeer Pong.

As opposed to the original table version, Beer Pong players will wear the jumper and stand socially distant from each other before attempting to throw the ball into their opponent’s cups.

If successful, the player can remove their empty cup, before taking a shot of their drink.

The garment will sadly not be available in store as any interested buyer must visit their local Lane7 venue today to be one of the first ones upon arrival to grab a jumper.

Head of Creative for Lane7, Jack Jolly, said, “We know our guests love getting competitive, so we've added a new angle on the much-loved tradition of Christmas Jumpers.

“Lane7 loves putting fresh twists on classic games; be it bowling, beer pong, darts, or karaoke.

After a strange December last year, this year gives us the perfect chance to start a new tradition.”

The jumpers will be available in Lane 7’s Bristol branch in Millennium Promenade.

Other cities where the jumpers can be collected are:

Manchester, Leicester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Edinburgh, North Shields, Birmingham, and Bristol.
