Christmas is just around the corner and one business is already looking for a Santa Claus to make it the most special one yet.
Dobbies Garden Centre is looking for a talented performer to step into the shoes of old St Nicholas.
The Milngavie store is hiring a Father Christmas to bring Christmas cheer to children and families over the festive season.
The chosen applicant will be responsible for creating memorable visits by talking to children within one of Dobbies magical grottos. Father Christmas will also meet with family groups at breakfast and team events in the restaurants.
The job description calls for anyone who "loves the spirit of Christmas to wear the special red suit and deliver the magic of Christmas to customers of all ages".
It explains: "From the moment you step into the suit you will become Father Christmas himself. From regaling stories from the North Pole and asking children about their Christmas list, you'll have the confidence to spread happiness and fulfil the imagination of children of all ages.
You must be confident, kind and have a jolly nature, along with the ability to say "Ho, Ho, Ho" with plenty of enthusiasm. You must be able to engage with and build rapport with people of all ages."
The shifts are described as flexible and will run over the week and weekends.
