Christmas Ireland: Meet the Dublin house that has their Xmas tree up for 25 YEARS straight in bizarre RTE interview

The year we've had has meant that people have allowed many to put up their Christmas decorations months in advance.

Everyone has been told they can blast the Xmas tunes in October and early November by those who are normally known for their grinch-like, 'ba humbug' spirit if it means forgetting about coronavirus for a second.

But even in the most strictest lockdown during the most deadliest of pandemics, this will definitely divide opinions among those pine-ing for the festivities.

Maria Ryan from Dublin told RTE's The Ray D'Arcy show about her Christmas tree which has been erected for 25 years.

The Rebel without a Claus has thrown tradition out the window leaving many shouting "sleigh what?" at their radios yesterday.

She admitted in the bizarre interview that the tree has stood in her hall, fully decorated since 1995.

The quarter of a century tree-mendous decoration has lit the halls of Maria's house and will continue to do so for another 25 years and longer she said.

We say fair play Maria, it takes some nerve Fir sure to do something like that and you deserve a round of Santa-plause.

Have you put up your Christmas decorations yet? Or better still, can you beat this record?
