Christmas in Dublin 2019: You better watch out as Santa Claus is coming to Liffey Valley

Dubliners better watch out as Santa Claus is coming to the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre next week.

So if you’ve been nice this year, why not turn it into a day trip full of festivities and fun on November 16.

Santa will be arriving from the North Pole to turn on the Christmas lights at 4.15 pm.

You can head in earlier to watch Santa’s helpers working hard to make sure the grotto is all ready for the big man himself at 1 pm.

And Angel and her band will perform Christmas songs from 1.30 pm to get everyone in the mood for the festive season.

You can bring your little ones along to visit Santa until Christmas eve before he leaves to jet off across the world to deliver presents ahead of Christmas morning.

Centre director Denis O’Connell said: “Christmas is such a magical time for families of all ages. Visiting Santa in the run up to 25 December is a special moment for kids and parents.

“We look forward to welcoming our community to enjoy our Christmas festivities this year. We have a fantastic plan this Christmas, full of activities, entertainment and shopping for the whole family.”
