Christmas at Bute Park will take visitors on a breathtaking tour of festive delight around one of the capital city’s most beloved landmarks and through the biggest Christmas lights trail Wales has ever seen.

What is there to do at Christmas at Bute Park?
The display of almost a million twinkling lights will feature laser shows, an enchanting fairy tree avenue, mirror ball displays and a flaming fire garden.
It culminates in a Sea of Light installation by Ithaca Studio, who have created stunning displays for Kew Gardens, Blenheim Palace, and Glastonbury Festival.
What are the dates and can you still get tickets?
Christmas in Bute Park launches on Thursday, November 25 (for which extra slots have been released) and runs until New Year's Eve.
There are indeed tickets left for the event and you can get them, here. Adult tickets cost £18, kids, £13, a family ticket is £55 (for four with a maximum of two adults).
Where is the entrance and what is the route?
You will have to enter via the North Road entrance to Bute Park, between the tennis courts and the Anthony Hopkins centre.

Will there be food on site?
Yes, and local stallholders, too.
Jol's Food Truck, from Merthyr Tydfil, will be bringing the freshly-cooked burgers and more. Hello Good Pie will be serving homemade meat and veggie pies, while hot drinks are on tap from the Handlebar Barista.
There's also going to be marshmallows and churros.
Where can I park?
Bute Park has no on-site parking but the nearest parking options are the pay and displays nearby in Castle Mews (CF10 3ER) and North Road (CF10 3EA), College Road, King Edward VII Avenue and Museum Avenue.
Of course if you're doing a spot of shopping in town before, there are a number of city-centre car parks including at John Lewis and St David's Centre.
