Budget supermarket Lidl has released a range of festive gins filled with Christmas flavours as part of its British Craft Spirits Festival
Other highlights of the in-store event include the Apple & Cinnamon spirit, as well as the Peaky Blinders Spiced Rum and five-year Malted Whisky
Shoppers looking for more classic Christmas combinations need look no further than the Harborough Spirits Apple & Cinnamon Gin (£19.99, 40% ABV), a premium distilled gin with notes of sweet apple and warm, spicy cinnamon - perfect with ginger ale and a slice of apple. Shoppers can also pick up the Brecon Rhubarb & Cranberry Gin (£18.99, 37.5% ABV), another festive flavour that serves perfectly with Mediterranean tonic, strawberries and cucumber.
Lidl has whisky lovers covered with the House of Elrick five-year Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (£19.99, 40% ABV). Featuring sweet dried fruit aromas, it is the first whisky produced from the Aberdeen distillery and boasts a spiced finish, making it the ultimate winter choice served neat, or on the rocks.
Shoppers will also be able to pick up the Peaky Blinders Dark Spiced Rum (£18.99, 40% ABV), produced in the West Midlands, and enjoy bold, warming spices and vanilla flavour profiles - perfect for sipping during those cold winter nights.
Also available is the new Hortus Christmas Gin (£15.99, 40% ABV) features hints of orange, cinnamon and spicy undertones - perfect for serving with a citrus tonic and orange peel for a real festive treat.
