An after dark light trail has opened an hour from Liverpool where you can walk through a forest lit with twinkling lights and a fire garden.
The glittering trail at Delemere Forest features illuminated dragonflies, singing trees and shimmering reflections that cast light in hidden places.
Inspired by the landscape, visitors can journey through the world of trees drenched in sparkling lights as they listen to a soundtrack of seasonal favourites.

Internationally acclaimed installation artworks Florison and the stunning Christmas Cathedral with more than a thousand pea lights were woven into the forest landscape, lighting up hidden nooks of the deep forest.

To keep you warm, there are street food vendors along the way. You can toast marshmallows over a fire, enjoy a spiced winter warmer, or a festive hot chocolate as you complete your moonlit journey.
There’s also traditional fairground rides to enjoy and keep a special look out for Father Christmas along the way.
The trail is designed for visitors of all ages and is accessible for all to enjoy. Tickets are available now and selling fast, you can book here. The trail is open on selected dates until New Year’s Eve, from 4.30pm with last entry and 8pm.

Admission prices are: Advance from adult £19.50, child £13.50, family £62 (two adults and two children). Free entry for carers and children aged two and under. Parking is £8 per car. Delamere Forest members receive £1.50 per person discount (max six people).
