While Christmas may be 54 days away, that doesn't mean we can't get in the festive spirit.
One sure fire way to get in the festive mood is to have the hits of the season playing in the background from dawn until dusk.
That just got a whole lot easier as Christmas FM has returned to the national airwaves today.
As is the case every year, the station will be partnering with an Irish charity to raise much-needed funds for it.
This year, Christmas FM is partnering with Barnardos.
The station is hoping to raise over €250,000 for the charity which will go directly to help Barnardos' mission of "working to give vulnerable children living in disadvantaged communities a better chance – because childhood lasts a lifetime."
This will be Christmas FM's 14th year on the airwaves and has so far raised over €2.7 million for various charities around the country.
