Christmas fair at Dog's Trust shelter in West Calder will have fun indoor games for pooches

Looking for a dog-friendly Christmas day out?

The Dogs Trust are holding a Christmas fair at their rehoming centre in West Calder on  Sunday, December 1.

Those attending the day are being encouraged to bring along presents which can be donated to the shelter's dogs. These will be collected by "Santa Paws" for the dogs to open on Christmas Day.

Visitors will be able to play fun indoor games with their own pooches and get some Christmas shopping done.

Festive snacks and drinks will be on offer amid the craft stalls.

The Dogs Trust say: "Visitors and their four-legged friends will be able to have their picture taken with Santa Paws, there will be gift and craft stalls as well as our Christmas Café offering hot drinks and sweet treats.

"There will also be some fun indoor games for dogs and their owners to enjoy."

Entry is free but donations of tins of dog food, dog toys and dog treats are encouraged.
