Christmas during the Cost of Living crisis: Will you be making any changes this year?

Covering the cost of Christmas during the ongoing financial crisis will be a worry for many people across the North East.

The festive season can be an expensive time of year for families. Hundreds of pounds may be spent on presents, food, Christmas nights out and trips away.

The Cost of Living crisis has had a huge impact on the lives of people in the region. Some families have resorted to using a food bank so they can afford to heat their homes.

This year, many people may be worried about how they can afford to cover their bills and pay for the festivities on December 25.

Research from Paypal reveals that six in 10 Brits are feeling anxious about the run-up to Christmas due to the cost of living crisis. However 75% are too proud to ask for help with the cost of splitting the celebrations.
