Christmas drive-thru attraction cancelled after mum rages at being cheated

They could have done it up, they could have had reindeer or even Santa lit up outside or something./p pquot;Just to be able to get out of the house with the kids and take them for a drive for 10 minutes and see something lit up #x2014; that#x2019;s all that I would have wanted./p pquot;I really felt cheated, and I#x2019;m not one to complain about these things, but I just felt it was such a scam, and completely false advertising. To take people#x2019;s money for that and think that it#x2019;s okay is awful#x2026; I#x2019;ve never seen anything like it in my life.quot;/p pIn a statement, Christmas Drive-Thru Limerick said it had to stop the event due to fears the workers were in danger from livid ticket-holders. /p pIt added: quot;We cancelled this event due to the safety of our actors being compromised./p pquot;Our excellent actors are worthy of respect and security./p pquot;The angry and abusive customers, most of whom have yet to even attend the event, have and are still currently barraging them with mindless disrespect and hurtful words./p p/ pquot;They are also sharing photos of underage actors on social media which we feel should be removed immediately./p pquot;These are very young actors who worked very hard and donapos;t deserve this backlash.quot;/p pThe statement went on: quot;A full refund will be given to anyone that has a valid ticket for today and any upcoming dates./p pquot;This will be done automatically and you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite.quot;/p
