Christmas is only three months away but already a few people have been spotting Christmas advent calendars and the Quality Street boxes on the shops shelves - so it's only time before you begin your Christmas food shop.
Last year delivery slots were hugely popular with people struggling to book them as many wanted to stay at home and avoid the festive queues.
And unsurprisingly, they’re expected to be popular again this year.
From Waitrose to Asda and Morrisons, here's our list of everything you need to know about securing your Christmas shop in 2021:
Tesco
If you're signed up to Tesco's Delivery Saver service, you will be able to book slots from on November 16 from 6am. If you aren't, customers will be able to book slots from 6am on November 23.
Delivery Saver costs £7.99 per month and gives shoppers free deliveries on orders worth more than £40.
Other deliveries are charged a flat fee of £4.50, or £5.50 if you're ordering from a fulfilment centre.
There is also an extra charge of £4 if your order is less than £40.
Asda
Asda have not announced their delivery slot openings yet however last year they released them in November so we could be waiting until then.
Asda deliveries cost between £1 and £7, depending on the time and day you order, with a minimum spend of £40.
Sainsbury's
In addition to Asda, Sainsbury's also have not released details of their Christmas delivery - again they were also released in November of last year.
Sainsbury's orders above £40 cost between £2 and £4.50 for delivery, while orders under this amount cost £7.
Shops worth £100 or more which are booked for delivery from Monday to Thursday after 2pm can be delivered for free.
Marks & Spencer
Marks & Spencer has opened its Food to Order service for Christmas 2021 meaning customers can order their festive shopping for collection in store now. However there will be no delivery services, only collection.
All orders are subject to a £40 deposit which must be paid online, with the remaining amount to be paid in stores when you collect.
M&S says there are collection slots available for between December 22 and December 24.
Iceland
Iceland haven't posted any information yet however they have also not allowed customers to book Christmas slots in advance in previous years - instead, it released delivery slots six days in advance as normal.
If this is the case this year, you'll want to keep an eye out from November 14 for delivery on December 20.
Iceland delivery is free on orders over £40 - anything under this amount is charged £3.
Morrisons
Morrisons have not released information yet but like many other supermarkets they also released their slots in November.
Morrisons offers a series of delivery passes that entitle you to free delivery anytime for specified periods.
The anytime pass, which covers deliveries any day of the week, is available for a month (£8), for six months (£40) or annually (£65).
The midweek pass, which is for deliveries Tuesday to Thursday, is also available for a month (£5), for six months (£20) or annually (£35).
It is also possible to get Morrisons food delivered for free without a pass, if you order before 3pm and book your slot in advance.
Waitrose
Waitrose have also not released any details yet although information for its slots were released in October 2020 - so keep an eye out next month for information.
Last year, it released this information in early October - so it's worth keeping an eye on its website for more information.
Waitrose delivery is free on orders under £40.
