Christmas Day falls on a Saturday this year, which for many is Parkrun day.
And for those who are keen runners or attend their local Parkrun for the craic and community, Christmas Day isn't going to stop them.
With some Northern Ireland Parkruns off due to the festive period, 13 events will go ahead as normal.

A spokesperson for Waterworks Belfast Parkrun said: "Unfortunately due to the current situation in the Waterworks there will be no Christmas or New Years Day Parkrun."
"Plans to reopen are being reviewed on the 5th of January."
At the beginning of the month, the park was closed following an outbreak of avian flu.
Sixteen dead birds have been removed from the park in North Belfast, the city council said.
Parkruns are free, weekly, community events all around the world.
Registration is free and only needs to be done once, whether you intend to walk, jog, run, or volunteer or do a combination of all these things.
Simply complete the registration form, print your barcode and head down to your local event.
