Glaswegians are set to enjoy a dry, bright and cold Christmas Day according to the Met Office.
The weather forecast predicts sunny spells between 9am and 3pm with a biting wind and a maximum temperature of around 5C – though it's set to feel more like zero to one degrees.
It also warns of "widespread frost" across Scotland, so remain vigilant if you're heading out for a walk or driving today.
But as an area of rain moves northwards later tonight and mixes with cold air, it's set to turn to snow as it reaches northern England and Scotland.
It comes as the Met Office issue a yellow alert for snow and strong winds for Boxing Day – find out more below.
