Two drivers have been arrested and another reported to the Procurator Fiscal as part of a Christmas crackdown on motorists in Falkirk.
Officers first stopped a car on the M9 at Cadgers Brae in Grangemouth close to Junction 5, where they found a vehicle had pulled over onto the hard shoulder.
The male inside was found to be under the influence and arrested at the scene.
A man was later arrested in the Bonnybridge area after his car was stopped and found to have been a disqualified driver and therefore also uninsured.

The vehicle was seized at the scene.
Two men aged 21, were then stopped driving a car with L plates in David's Load in the Bainsford area, only for cops to discover both the driver and passenger had a Provisional License.

Both have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson: "Enquiries into these incidents are ongoing."
