A Christmas concert hosted by Stephen Fry will raise money to help feed the most vulnerable through the pandemic.

Funds raised from Quintessentially Foundation’s first virtual Christmas concert will go towards food redistribution charity The Felix Project and The Childhood Trust, which is focused on supporting children living in poverty in London. Since 2008, the foundation has raised £13 million for UK charities.

This year its annual gathering, the Fayre of St James’s, which is usually held in St James’s Church in Piccadilly, will take place online.

Those attending should expect performances  and readings from Craig David and Poppy Delevingne.

Since the start of lockdown, the Felix Project, the partner for the Evening Standard’s Food For London Now campaign, has delivered more than 13.5 million meals and the funds donated have helped it deliver nearly two million meals a month.

Tickets are £30 each and just one sale will buy more than 180 meals.

Tickets can be purchased via the website: https://events.tapsimple.org/event/quintessentially-foundation/fayre-of-st-james-2020
