Christmas concert to light up festive period for Ayrshire Hospice

Star names will team up to host a virtual Christmas concert in aid of the Ayrshire Hospice.

A special night of music, dance and song in memory of loved ones will be streamed live on the charity's YouTube channel.

The Voice UK star Jeremy Levif is among those topping the bill for the show on Sunday, November 28.

Scott Watson, Pauline Ferguson and The McIlwraith Brothers are also lined up, with performances from Centrestage Arts Academy and the Janice Marshall Stage School.

Local amateur musical societies will also feature as Ayr Amateur Operatic Society, Ayrshire Philharmonic Opera Society, Kilmarnock Amateur Operatic Society and Loudoun Musical Society will all take to the stage on the night.

And Forehill Primary School will share a special music video for their very own magical song ‘Let Love In’.

The concert will be presented live from the Hospice's own studio by Linda Ormiston and the evening will share some special stories of patients and their families touched by Hospice care and how the charity has provided support to them.

All those buying a ticket will receive a gift box as part of the Hospice Light up a Life Appeal which will include scented candles and Christmas tree stars.

Tickets cost £10/£15/£20 and can be purchased from www.ayrshirehospice.org or by calling the fundraising office on (01292) 288 488.
