Christmas cinema coming to Croxteth Hall with Elf and Home Alone

There's nothing like snuggling down for a festive film with friends and family in front of a big screen.

And if you love a Christmas classic then you can head to Croxteth Hall to watch them at a pop-up cinema.

Tickets are now on sale for the event with screenings including It's a Wonderful Life, The Greatest Showman, Elf and Home Alone.

There will be a full bar, popcorn, hot chocolate and mince pies on offer at the pop-up cinema although you will be allowed to bring food and drink for the autism friendly screening only on Sunday, December 22.

The city has its fair share of pop-up cinemas this Christmas with a floating cinema at the Albert Dock and pop-up screenings at St George's Hall .

The event at Croxteth Hall is running from Wednesday, December 18 to Sunday, December 22 with tickets starting from £5.50 if you book before December 1.

Adults and children's tickets are priced the same but babies under one can go free although prams are not allowed in the cinema room but can stored in another area.

There will also be free screenings of It's a Wonderful Life for over 60s at 2pm from Wednesday to Friday.
