Christmas big screen drive-in panto to bring festive fun to Malahide Castle

The Christmas panto is a favourite tradition for many Dublin families, and this year they've had to change up how they'll entertain the masses.

With that comes Ireland's FIRST EVER big screen drive-in panto featuring Sammy Sausages and Buffy and it's going to be in the idyllic setting of Malahide Castle.

Starring Alan Hughes, Jake Carter and Johnny Ward and written by Karl Broderick, Peter Pan will wow audiences from December 11 through to January 5.

Karl Broderick said: "We couldn't have asked for a more fairytale setting to soar to new heights with Peter Pan and this format had so many positives when it came to special effects."

Dancing with the Stars winner Jake Carter plays the cheeky Peter Pan, while Fair City’s Johnny Ward is the evil pirate Captain Hook.

Looking out for our hero is the magical Tinkerbell played by Michele Mcgrath, who gets a little green-eyed at Peter having a new friend Wendy.

Paul Ryder returns to pantoland as Sparkle, Hooks' reluctant right-hand man and Keila Ana Whelan is the fiesty young Wendy minding her little brothers John and wee Michael.

Tickets are on sale this Friday 27 November at 10am and are priced at €50 per car. They'll be available from panto.ie.
