There's no getting away from the fact that it has been another really tricky year for lots of people, as the effects of the pandemic continue to impact people's lives.
So, it's unsurprising that many people decided to up the ante on the festive front this year, to bring a bit much of much needed cheer into our lives.
As part of that, lots of households up and down the country opted to put their Christmas tree and decorations early this year - some as early as the beginning of November - because we deserve a bit of festive fun.

But, while the time period for putting up Christmas decorations can vary an awful lot from home to home, is there a specific time we should be taking them down again?
You might find that after eight solid weeks of fairy lights and tinsel, those who put their decorations and tree up in early November might be a little bit sick of the sight of them by Boxing Day, and want to take them down.
Meanwhile, others who are a little more traditional would argue that Christmas decorations should never be taken down before the 12th night of Christmas, which lands on January 5 for Church of England Christians, while Catholics class the 12th night as January 6.
Either way, the Christian church believes it's bad luck to take your decorations down before then, but it seems like many others disagree.
According to a poll we put out on Twitter, 86 percent of people agree that the decs should come down after the new year, but more than 60 percent of those people said they would take their decorations down between January 1 and 4.
