Urgent appeal as search for missing Scots woman enters second week

Police have launched an urgent appeal for information for the public's help in tracing a woman missing from Caithness.

Christine Spencer was last seen on Monday August 2 in Wick on the north-east coast, police said.

In an appeal on Twitter on Sunday night (August 8), Officers from Police Scotland's Highlands and Islands division said they are concerned for her welfare and are "keen to trace her as soon as possible".

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland on the 101 non-emergency number, giving reference 1838 of August 8.

Alternatively, police can be contacted via the online form here.
