Christine McGuinness treats gym sessions like 'therapy' - and goes to GAIN weight

Christine McGuinness keeps her stunning figure by treating her gym sessions like "therapy".

Paddy McGuinness' model wife says she looks forward to hitting the gym after she's dropped their three kids - five-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, who both have autism, and Felicity, three - off at school.

Christine, who has admitted that Paddy's gruelling work schedule sometimes leaves her feeling like a single mum, says her gym sessions keep her sane.

She told the Daily Star : "My little bit of gym time when I've dropped the kids off at school keeps me sane. It's my therapy. I wish I could go every day because I find it's so good mentally."

The blonde beauty spends an hour, three times a week, working out, and it's certainly paid off.

But the modest mum doesn't think she's got anything to brag about.

She said: "I don't think my body is amazing. I think it's pretty average. But I feel healthy and strong and in a good place."

Christine has gained a stone since she started going to the gym, saying stress makes the weight drop off her.

After a stressful time last year, with her husband being pictured with All Saints star Nicole Appleton, Christine says she's now working to build "the curves a surgeon can't".

She added: "When I'm stressed, the weight just drops off me and it's not a good look. A lot of people go to the gym to lose weight but I go to gain weight. I don't want to be weak or skinny. I want to have some curves in the right places."
