Christine McGuinness will write about her marriage to TV host husband Paddy and raising their three autistic kids in a “frank and candid” memoir.
The model promises to tell the “untold stories” of her life, revealing details of her anorexia, fertility issues, and “tough childhood”.
Christine, 33, has been wed to Top Gear and Phoenix Nights star Paddy, 48, since 2011. Their daughter Felicity, five, and twins Leo and Penelope, eight, are all autistic.
Christine said: “It’s a real pinch-me moment to write my story. My husband has been in the public eye for more than 20 years.
“For over a decade I’ve been referred to as Paddy‘s wife, which I love and I’m proud of.

"But I’ve been to big, red-carpet events where I’ve got to the table and my name place has said ‘Paddy‘s wife’.
“It’s only recently I’ve been recognised as Christine, but I’ve been Christine for 33 years so there’s a lot of my life people don’t know about.”
The title of her book, A Beautiful Nightmare, was particularly meaningful to her. She said: “It is very much a ‘rags to riches’ and ‘not all that glitters’ story.
"That’s why I called it A Beautiful Nightmare, because there have been times in life that have been a complete nightmare, but also beautiful.

“I’m hoping this story inspires people to believe it doesn’t matter where you come from, or what happens in life, with love and support anything is possible. “Always remain positive – even in times of trauma you can find strength.”
She and Paddy are also filming a BBC documentary about autism to be shown this autumn.
Christine McGuinness: A Beautiful Nightmare will be published by Mirror Books on November 9.
