Christine McGuinness showered with support as she 'finally' shares big first solo move since Paddy split

Christine McGuinness has been showered with support from her fans and follower after she was 'finally' able to share an update on her first big solo move since her split from her husband Paddy McGuinness. Fans have been bugging Christine as to when her new BBC documentary will be coming to screens - and she finally has an answer.

The former model recently shared about her time in London, attending a press screening for her new documentary as well as walking at London Fashion Week and her excitement at getting her hands on her debut children's book. The programme, titled Christine McGuinness: Unmasking My Autism, will see Christine reveal how autism in women and girls has been ignored and misunderstood by science and society, leaving thousands of women are living undiagnosed.

It comes after Christine and Paddy's children Felicity, Leo and Penelope were all diagnosed with autism and after their diagnosis, Christine was also confirmed as having the developmental disability caused by differences in the brain that affects how people communicate and interact with the world.

It also follows the BBC One documentary Paddy and Christine McGuinness: Our Family and Autism, screened in November 2021, in which they met other parents, experts and people on the autism spectrum. The programme also followed Christine's diagnosis.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (March 1) Christine confirmed that the documentary will be hitting screens in a matter of days. "Finally I can give you a date!" she typed alongside a serious image of herself to coincide with the new film. "My new documentary.. The mum-of-three added: "I’m excited, nervous and proud to present this incredible short film that I truly hope and believe will help thousands of autistics feel understood, recognised and valued."

Peter Andre was among the first to reply, posting a string of red heart emojis. Blue singer Duncan James said: "Amazing," also with a string of red heart emojis. TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford also commented: "Well done! Cannot wait to watch." And fans were also sharing supportive and positive messages.
