Christine McGuinness has thanked fans for their “kind messages” after undergoing a “little op and a biopsy”.
The model wife of presenter Paddy assured fans that “all was well” when she shared a picture of her sleepy self giving a thumbs up in a hospital bed on Thursday night.
After being inundated with concerned messages, McGuinness, gave fans an update on her condition, saying that she was “very sleepy” but was feeling “positive vibes”.
“I am feeling well and ready to recover from a little op and a biopsy,” the 30-year-old posted on Twitter.
“I am awaiting results and some further tests mostly precautionary. Sending love. Christine.”
McGuinness uploaded a selfie wearing an oxygen mask after coming back from surgery.
Alongside the image, she wrote: “Please hear me when I say 'I am very well so please don’t worry' I just had a little snooze, honestly it wasn’t long enough.
“Whilst I’m lay here, I’ll take a selfie and send a little reminder to stay strong. Live, laugh and love every day. Be kind always, you never know what people are dealing with behind their smile.”
Christine married the Take Me Out host in 2011. They have five-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and two-year-old Felicity.
She has spoken at length about her autistic twins, sharing an emotional message to celebrate their fourth birthday in July 2017.
Paddy, 45, was recently named as Fearne Cotton’s replacement on Celebrity Juice. The comedian will take charge opposite rival captain Holly Willoughby on the show, which is presented by his good pal Keith Lemon.
He will also host the next series of Top Gear with Freddie Flintoff.
