Christine McGuinness has paid an emotional tribute to her mum who is being treated for breast cancer.
Former Miss Liverpool Christine shared a photo of her mum to Instagram to mark world cancer day.
Christine, who is married to Top Gear host Paddy, is incredibly close to her mum, who often helps her look after the children when Paddy is away.
But Christine, from Halewood, hasn't been able to see her for several months as she is shielding because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Today mum-of-three Christine thanked her followers for asking how her mum was doing and gave an update on her progress in the caption.
Christine, 32, said: " #WorldCancerDay Respecting the fighters, supporting the survivors. Honouring the taken.
"I get messages everyday asking how my mum is doingm thank you all for checking in!
"Fighting cancer away from family and friends is beyond heartbreaking (due to covid she has to isolate).
"But still laughing every time we speak on the phone just shows what an incredibly strong Ma I’ve got.
"I'm so proud of you mum, I miss you everyday and can’t wait to see you again as soon as it is safe."
