Christine McGuinness hides in one room of her house admitting she 'just needs five minutes' alone

Christine McGuinness confessed she was hiding in her living room in a bid to have "five minutes" alone.

Mum-of-three Christine hid in the unfinished living room of her new home in the hopes nobody would find her.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 32-year-old former Real Housewives of Cheshire filmed herself laying on the floor and spoke candidly to her 511K followers.

She said: "I'm hiding in the living room - I just need five minutes.

"I'm hoping that no one's seen me. I've just come in, I've put the fire on, there's going to be a telly up there one day - this room isn't finished so I'm hoping that no one will think I'm in here.

"I just need five minutes."

She added: "What am I lying for? I don't need five minutes, I need a whole week. I need a whole week on a beach, in the Bahamas, on my own. Save me."

The former Miss Liverpool recently moved into a new home with her presenter husband, Paddy McGuinness, and their three children, twins Leo and Penelope, six, and Felicity, four.

Their three children are autistic and Christine is a vocal advocate for autism.

She regularly speaks out about her children's condition and how it affects their lives.

Recently, the star opened up on the exhaustion she experienced with her family on Christmas Day.

Christine, from Halewood, took to social media to explain how her children's food aversion changes Christmas.

She wanted her children to be happy over the festive period so she allowed them to choose what to eat rather than sticking to the traditional roast dinner.
