Christine McGuiness opens up on her 'wild weekends' in midnight message to fans

Christine McGuiness has opened up on her 'wild weekends' as she posted a midnight message to her followers.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star has spent weeks in the gym preparing for the Strictly The Real Full Monty and it seems there's no letting even up after the performance.

Christine shared an Instagram story of herself at 10pm on Friday heading into the gym with the caption 'do not disturb'.

The 33-year-old updated her 620,000 followers two hours later that she was still working out and had even smashed a personal best.

She said: "This is my wild weekends everyone, this is what I do at midnight. It's Friday, I've just smashed my personal best.

"I knew I would because I was on my phone yesterday, I completely stayed off my phone today.

"I absolutely loved it, I'm so pleased with myself."

The mum-of-three, who lives with her family in Cheshire, added that she was dripping in sweat after her workout.

The former Miss Liverpool was one of 12 celebrities to bare all to raise awareness for cancer research on this year's edition of the ITV show.

She participated as four of her aunties and mum have all suffered with breast cancer.

However, Christine has recently been diagnosed with autism and struggled with the first dance routine as she admitted she would only feel comfortable dancing as part of a group.

She was visibly upset during one segment and couldn't make eye contact while performing with James Jordan.

Christine has three children who have all been diagnosed with autism and said she was determined to carry on in order to set an example for them.

She said: "They're one of the reasons why I'm doing this because if I can't push myself then how can I expect them too."
