Christine Lampard struggles on Lorraine after Ant's wedding after losing voice at raucous reception

Christine Lampard soldiered on on Monday's Lorraine, after revealing she'd lost her voice after partying at Ant McPartlin's wedding.

Former One Show and Dancing on Ice host Christine, is standing-in for Lorraine Kelly for the summer and had an early start on Monday after attending Ant and now wife Anne-Marie's wedding in Hampshire on Saturday.

Christine and footballer husband Frank were just two of many celebs in attendance for the ceremony at St Michael's Church in Heckfield, before a lavish reception at nearby country hotel and spa Heckfield Place.

She joined the likes of Phillip Schofield, Andi Peters and Stephen Mulhern for pal Ant's big day and it sounds like they all had quite a night after Ant and Anne-Marie said 'I do.'

Making a candid admission to Lorraine viewers at home and resident GP, Doctor Amir Khan, Christine said she had been 'burning the candle at both ends,' before explaining: "I was at a wedding at the weekend; I'm sure you maybe will have seen; it was in the paper of course.

"Ant and Anne-Marie, they tied the knot on Saturday - beautiful ceremony, beautiful wedding and clearly an even better night time party because, not only was a screaming over the music talking to everybody and I was obviously also singing as well and my voice went yesterday I've got to say.

"It's slowly coming back today but if I lose it completely..." to which Dr Amir, joining her via video call replied: "You've got to rest it! Let your guests do all the talking.

"You're a bit far away for me to book you in with me here Christine but I've sent you Mama Khan's home remedy for a hoarse voice: hot water, honey and lemon - get it down you!"

Christine replied: "I'll be sipping throughout the show and I'll be sensible this week let me tell you!"
