Christine Lampard set to return to Loose Women after birth of second baby

Christine Lampard is set to return to Loose Women.

She will return to the panel of the ITV show from maternity leave after the birth of her second baby Freddie who was born back in March, reports the Mirror.

The Newtownards woman first joined the show in 2016 and has been a regular anchor on the daytime show since.

It's also been announced that Sunetra Sarker and Katie Piper will sit on the panel regularly later this year too.

They will join familiar faces on the show including Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford and Stacey Solomon.

Christine will also host Lorraine for four weeks this summer as the star has landed the gig covering the Scottish presenter during her break.

She appeared on the show last week to announce the news, while admitting how it's been great to get out of the house recently with hubby Frank Lampard.

The 42-year-old also told how her daughter Patricia might follow in his footsteps when it comes to football.

When asked how everything was going at the minute, Christine said: “This is practically the first time I’ve left the house! It feels really really nice… [but we are] really, really good. He’s a great little baby, he slipped into the family just seamlessly. He's been a gorgeous little addition.

“He’s just over four months already so he’s sitting up… he’s just great [and to have] a little boy in the house - a bit of a change!”
