Christine Lampard says her daugher is glad to have Frank Lampard at home as they self-isolate

Christine Lampard has admitted that self-isolation has actually had some positive effects as her family is brought closer together.

The 41-year-old presenter explained that her 18-month-old daughter, Patricia, is delighted that she can spend more time with her daddy Frank Lampard.

“Frank's been at home and he never is, he's always away and I have never seen our little girl or dog happier,” Christine said while hosting Loose Women.

“It's just us, it's literally just us in the house 24 hours a day.

“It’s felt strangely quite… nice,” she went on to say, before admitting it was still certainly early days.

Frank, who manages Chelsea football club, has been forced into isolation after team star Callum Hudson-Odoi became the first Premier League player to test positive for coronavirus.

Chelsea’s football ground has also been closed for deep-cleaning and professional football has been temporarily suspended across the country until at least April 30.

As a result, Frank is enjoying some important family time with wife Christine and Patricia.

The Loose Women panel were discussing how coronavirus is affecting people’s lives and could actually be bringing communities closer together as a result.

They went on to say there has been an increase in conversation between friends and relatives in this time of need.

“My hope is that great things happen between people and great connections,” fellow panelist Nadia Sawalha said.

It's certainly true that there has been an outpouring of help and support throughout communities across the country as many head into self-isolation.

Countless Facebook groups now exist in order to help local residents and their neighbours support each other in any way they can.

The cast's discussions about coronavirus follow shortly after ITV bosses ordered the daytime show to ditch its live audience in response to coronavirus concerns.

On March 16 the Loose Women official Twitter released a message in which they vowed to continue the show despite some slight changes.

“Things are a little different in the #LooseWomen studio today but we're here and ready to hopefully bring you some light relief this lunchtime.”
