Christine Lampard reveals total pregnancy weight-gain as she swerves the gym

Christine Lampard shared she put on three and a half stone during her pregnancy.

But the presenter, who often stands in for Lorraine Kelly , claimed she doesn't care about piling on the pounds as she said "loose clothes" have been the answer.

The mother-of-one said she was still one stone overweight but she admitted she hasn't got the "dedication" to hit the gym every day while she has got to juggle her working duties with looking after Patricia.

She told Closer magazine : "I put on three and a half stone [while pregnant with Patricia] and I'm still a stone overweight but I couldn't give a damn. Loose clothes is the answer.

"And bigger shoes; my feet have expanded so my size-seven boats are now size-eight ferries.

"I can't fathom how any new mum can make it to the gym every day! That takes dedication I'll never possess; I walk a lot with our dog Minnie and the baby in her pram, so that's what passes as my 'exercise regime'."

Previously, Christine candidly confessed she could do more to lose the weight she has gained since having a baby.

However, the brunette bombshell said she's enjoying being a mum and having a glass of rosé.

She told Fabulous magazine : “I could do more to try to trim myself back in, but I don’t care. I’m enjoying her and I enjoy a glass of rosé. I mean come on, it’s the summer! I can’t say no to any of it.”

Christine and Frank's love story began 10 years ago when they set their sights on each other at a glittering awards ceremony in October 2009.

They have become a showbiz power couple as their love has blossomed since they tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in 2015.

Christine became a mother for the first time when she welcomed baby Patricia into the world last September.

The TV host had been in preparation for a long time as she has been the step mother to her love Frank Lampard's daughters Luna, 13, and Elen Rivas, 12, since they were four and two.

Last year, Christine said: "I have had the girls since they were 4 and 2 and they are 13 and 11 so I have been through all the toddler years, the primary and secondary school bit and teenagers are around the corner, that is preparation, although the baby years is all new to me!

"So I’ll take it day by day really, like every other new mum."
