Christine Lampard to return to TV after birth of son Freddie

Christine Lampard is set to return to TV after the birth of her second child.

She is set to cover Lorraine during her summer break for four weeks, according to the Mirror.

The Newtownards woman gave birth to son Freddie back in March, announcing the news on Instagram.

At the time, Christine posted a picture of her and their beautiful new addition from hospital and said: “Let us introduce you to our newest addition... Frederick (Freddie) George Lampard!

“We are completely in love.”

The Co Down woman also spends lots of time with hubby, ex-football manager Frank Lampard's two daughters Isla and Luna.

Christine and Frank welcomed their first child together in September 2018, a daughter named Patricia Charlotte Lampard who is named after Frank's late mother who died in 2008.

According to the Mirror, a source said: " Christine is really looking forward to going back to work and the whole Lorraine team are delighted to have her on board.”

The Northern Irish star and husband Frank were spotted enjoying a sunny break in Northern Ireland in June.

They paid a visit to the Cultra Inn at the Culloden Hotel and were only too happy to pose for photos with staff.

You can watch Lorraine weekdays from 9am on ITV and ITV Hub
