Christine Lampard got her Coleens confused when she found out about the wag's row with Rebekah Vardy

As the Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy drama unfolded yesterday, Loose Women panelist Christine Lampard accidentally saw a different take on it.

Christine, the wife of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, got her Coleens confused and thought people were talking about her Loose Women co-star Coleen Nolan, not the wife of former Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney.

Discussing the saga on the ITV1 chat show, she confessed her blunder to her fellow panellists.

"I have to say yesterday it took a slightly different turn for me," she explained.

For three hours Christine thought people were talking about Coleen Nolan (Loose Women/ITV)

"A friend of mine sent it to me, the whole story, and I thought 'I can't believe this, this is extraordinary, we're going to obviously be talking about it on Loose Women tomorrow.

"I had this whole discussion about it, the whole time thinking it was Coleen Nolan.

"I thought it was Coleen Nolan and realised there's clearly two Coleens.

"So it was a slightly different take for me."

On Wednesday morning Coleen was dubbed 'WAGatha Christie' after revealing her super sleuth credentials on Twitter.

Coleen , 33, shocked the online world when she posted her accusation on social media, claiming that after five months of detective work she had discovered who was responsible for leaked stories to The Sun by blocking everyone’s account but Rebekah’s.

She wrote in a lengthy post: "For a few years now someone who I trusted to follow me on my personal instagram account has been consistently informing The S*n newspaper of my private posts and stories.

"There has been so much information given to them about me, my friends and my family - all without my permission or knowledge."

Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City star Jamie Vardy who is pregnant with her fifth child, has denied the claims, saying she never speaks to the press about the Rooneys and suggested her account was ‘hacked’.
