Christine Bleakley is returning to the BBC. Yes, you read that right. But don't worry Alex Jones, she's not coming back to The One Show. Bleakley's recording her new ITV1 gameshow Control at, you guessed it... the studios at BBC Television Centre. When she was umming and aahing last summer about whether or not she would follow Adrian Chiles to ITV to front new morning show Daybreak, or stay at the Beeb on a £450,000-a-year deal and become the face of its Olympics coverage, Bleakley released a statement to say she was, in the words of Natalie Imbruglia, "torn". Walking back through the gates of TV Centre on Wednesday night, with Daybreak not exactly tearing up trees ratings-wise, Monkey wonders if Bleakley will instead be thinking: "I'm all out of faith. This is how I feel. I'm cold and I am shamed."
