Christian Ramirez highlights Ryan Porteous Aberdeen flashpoint with knowing 'unintentional' verdict

Aberdeen striker Christian Ramirez has highlighted an apparent kick from Hibs defender Ryan Porteous as he sarcastically declared it "seems unintentional".

The pair clashed near the halfway line during last night's match at Easter Road, with the hosts taking a 1-0 win for Shaun Maloney's first game.

It was Porteous who headed in the winner, but Aberdeen fans were left fuming as he went unpunished for what appeared to be a kick on Ramirez.

The Scotland international looked to win the ball before he and the striker tumbled to the ground.

After that though Porteous seemed to lash out, leaving Ramirez on the turf holding his chest.

And the American forward highlighted that on social media as he posted a video of the incident with the caption: "Seems unintentional?".

Ramirez joined from Houston Dynamo in the summer as he followed new manager Stephen Glass from Major League Soccer.

He's hit 11 goals in 25 games so far this season, but has just two in his last eight appearances for the club.

Ramirez has been capped twice by the United States, scoring in a friendly win over Panama.
