Christian Pulisic on Chelsea transfer: Maurizio Sarri playing style suits me perfectly

Christian Pulisic is relishing the opportunity to slot into a playing system that "fits me very well" when he moves to Chelsea in the summer.

The Blues completed the £57.6million signing of Pulisic on Wednesday but agreed to loan him back to Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season.

Dortmund are six points clear in the race for the Bundesliga title and Pulisic returns hoping to add the league crown to the DFB-Pokal medal he won with Dortmund two seasons ago.

But in moving to Chelsea this summer, the 20-year-old will realise a long-held dream.

Asked about speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool, Pulisic told reporters: "I do not want to talk about that. I'm happy to have made my decision for Chelsea."

The winger has lost his place in the starting XI at Borussia Dortmund to England international Jadon Sancho after two short-term injury problems earlier in the current campaign.

Pulisic insists he is fully committed Dortmund for the remainder of the season, but believes a fresh start at Stamford Bridge next term suits him perfectly.

"I’ve seen their style of play," he added.

"I’ve always appreciated how they’ve played football, and it’s really nice how they play now, with their new coach. It fits me very well."
