Denmark boss Brian Riemer has urged Christian Eriksen to get a club quickly or he won't play against Scotland in the opening World Cup qualifier next month.
Scotland face the Danes in Copenhagen in their first game in a hectic three-month period as they bid to reach what would be their first World Cup Finals in 28 years.
Eriksen was released by Manchester United in the summer and the 33-year-old has still not found a new club. He was linked with a move to Rangers last month and reportedly has offers from big-spending Wrexham as well as clubs in Brazil, Saudi Arabia and the USA.

Eriksen has scored 46 goals for Denmark in 144 caps, but won't be adding to that against Scotland unless he finds a club quickly, according to Riemer.
He said: "Christian is in a unique situation because he doesn't have a club. That means the situation is a little more complex.
"I find it hard to imagine that you can play for the national team in September in the first game against Scotland if you don't have a club.
"However, I can't believe Christian Eriksen won't have a club by then.
"In that way, I'm relatively calm about his situation, but I'm also really looking forward to seeing what happens.
"Christian needs to play for a football team that has possession of the ball and these are often teams that are at the top of the league.
"For me, it is important that he is at a club that suits him. This will make the last years of his career as positive a journey as possible."
