Christian Eriksen's reaction to what Harry Kane and Son Heung-min did in the win over Arsenal

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen took to social media after watching his old side record a 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho's side returned to the top of the Premier League table, after what was a comfortable victory over their north London rivals.

First half goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane sealed the win against the Gunners, despite the visitors maintaining the majority of possession during the game.

Speaking after the game, Spurs boss Mourinho admitted Arsenal played well and gave credit to his opposite number.

"I think it was a big game, not just because it was Tottenham versus Arsenal. It was a big game in every sense," Mourinho told Sky Sports shortly after the final whistle.

"I want to give good words and congratulations to Mikel because he gave us a very difficult game. Tactically, they are very good, they were very well organised, they were building with four, defending with five.

"Then in the second half they tried to find triangles on the side and they gave us problems, problems that we managed to resolve because the players in this moment have good tactical culture.

"And even, above that, they have an incredible spirit but they gave us problems because they are a good team and he is a good coach.

"But we deserved to win I guess because two amazing goals."

After the game, Inter Milan midfielder Eriksen showed he still holds his former club in high regard with his activity on social media.

The Danish international, who joined Inter in the January transfer window, liked a tweet which showed Son and Kane's celebrations following their goals against Arsenal.

Eriksen has been linked with a move away from the San Siro after struggling to break into Antonio Conte's first team plans since arriving from north London.

The midfielder again started on the bench for Inter's 3-1 win against Bologna at the weekend, and was brought on the 91st minute for a short cameo appearance.
