Christian Eriksen's next club as Manchester United rival Inter Milan for Spurs star

Jose Mourinho has been presented with his first opportunity to put his own imprint on the Tottenham squad during the January transfer window and that could mean departures.

The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss is renowned for being keen to work with a smaller squad, which could lead the experienced manager to trim the edges.

However, movement has been restricted by Tottenham's plague of injury issues - the latest of which has seen Moussa Sissoko sidelined for the next three months.

That has handed Mourinho issues heading into the second half of the season and he will also be wary with the fact that there are question marks hanging over the heads of a number of players.

Among them is Denmark international Christian Eriksen, who sees his contract in north London expire at the end of the season and is therefore able to discuss a pre-contractual agreement with clubs outside of the Premier League this month.

An exit could occur before the closure of the window though, for which Tottenham would receive a fee, and the odds from SportNation.bet have put Inter Milan as clear favourites in the hunt.

However, they are not the only club linked with Eriksen's services and you can see the full list of odds below.
