Christian Eriksen has outlined the limited game time at Inter Milan as one of the major differences from his time at Tottenham Hotspur.
After months of speculation regarding his future, the Denmark international sealed a move to the San Siro during the January transfer window, thus ending six-and-a-half years in north London.
The reported fee was in the region of £16.9m - a good piece of business by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy as the attacking midfielder was in the final few months of his contract and would have been a free agent in the summer just gone.
Speaking after completing the transfer, Eriksen admitted he was eyeing silverware with his new club after being a runner-up for Spurs in the 2015 League Cup final as well as the 2018/2019 Champions League final.
"There's a big chance of winning a trophy here or a bigger chance than where I was of course," Eriksen told Sky in Italy back in February.
"The Champions League final was a very bad day, we lost which you don't want to remember.
"I'm here to win and start something new.
"The last time I won something was at Ajax so it's many years ago. I still remember the feeling so I want to achieve it here as well."
However, Inter and Eriksen came up short in the Serie A title race, lost in the Europa League final, and reached the semi-final of the Coppa Italia last season.
That means Eriksen is still waiting to fulfill his ambitions and he's also looking to force his way into Antonio Conte's starting XI having been a bit-part player since joining.
After scoring the winner for Denmark in their 1-0 win over England in the UEFA Nations League on Wednesday night, the playmaker spoke out regarding a lack of game time at his current club.
"I'm happy to come back every time because I play here and I’m happy. Of course, as everyone knows, many things have changed," he explained in the post-match press conference.
"I don't play as much as I did at Tottenham, but nothing has changed.
"I'm excited when I come to national team, no matter which club I play in."
