Christian Eriksen latest as Denmark vs Finland game back ON

Denmark and Finland will restart their Euro 2020 fixture after the trauma of witnessing the collapse of Christian Eriksen.

Both sets of players and fans inside the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen were in shock after the Inter Milan star fell to the ground shortly before half-time.

Eriksen received emergency CPR treatment as medics reacted quickly to the worrying situation with English referee Anthony Taylor reacting immediately to call a halt to the game.

But UEFA have confirmed that the match will restart, kicking off at 7.30pm, with the last four minutes of the first half being played before a five-minute half-time break followed by the second half.

European football’s governing body said in a statement: “Following the request made by players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland.”

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara was among the players involved in the Group B match with game scoreless between his Finnish side and the Danes when the match was postponed.
