Christian Eriksen 'favours PSG move' over Manchester United and more transfer rumours

Christian Eriksen is set to snub Manchester United in favour of a move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.

Over a six-and-a-half-year stint at Tottenham Hotspur, Eriksen established himself as one of the best playmakers in the game but has fallen on hard times since leaving North London.

With his contract at Spurs coming to an end, the Dane was sold last January to Italian giants Inter but he has never been in favour under manager Antonio Conte.

Eriksen has started just 16 times in the last year, only contributing four goals and three assists, and could reportedly leave the San Siro in January.

United have been repeatedly linked with the 28-year-old in the past and are one of several clubs to be so again ahead of the winter window, along with Arsenal.

However, according to The Star, Eriksen does not want to return to the Premier League “with his tail between his legs" and would prefer a move to PSG.

Meanwhile, Leeds United have yet again been touted for a move for Manchester United's Daniel James.

Now, the Telegraph report that Marcelo Bielsa wants to test United's resolve and secure a January deal for the Welshman.

MEN Sport understand James was determined to stay at United in the summer despite a late deadline day attempt from Leeds to bring him to Elland Road.

Finally,  the Telegraph also claim that Southampton have revived their interest in a loan deal for Brandon Williams.

The left-back nearly joined the Saints on a temporary deal in the summer, but United opted to keep him with their squad. But having failed to start a league game this season, it's now reported that the loan move could happen when the window re-opens in January.
