Christian Eriksen considering Man Utd transfer after dream Real Madrid move collapses

Christian Eriksen is eyeing a switch to Manchester United or Juventus after seeing his dream move to Real Madrid collapse.

The Denmark ace was so sure of leaving Tottenham for La Liga, he packed up his north London house BEFORE the Champions League Final.

But Eriksen’s hopes of moving to Madrid are over after Real swooped for Chelsea ’s Eden Hazard.

Now, manager Zinedine Zidane has made it clear that he also wants United’s Paul Pogba.

It leaves the door open for Eriksen to head north to Manchester or to Turin, where Juve are rebuilding their squad solely to win the Champions League.

Spurs are keen to let the 27 year-old Dane leave, but chairman Daniel Levy wants an eye-watering £100million.

Speaking earlier this month, Eriksen confirmed his desire to quit Tottenham.

"I have the wildest and deepest respect for everything that has happened in Tottenham, nor will it be negative. But I have also said that I would like to try something new.

"I hope there will be a clarification during the summer. That's the plan. In football you do not know when a clarification comes. It can happen anytime. Everyone wants it best if it happens as soon as possible, but in football takes things time.

"It depends on Daniel Levy, and another club has to come. Or I have to sit down at the table and negotiate a new contract. You can't set a date yourself.

Allowing Eriksen, who has told his Spurs pals that he won’t be there next season, to leave will free up vital funds for Mauricio Pochettino.

The Spurs manager has Crystal Palace ’s Wilfred Zaha on his hit-lit.
