Christian Benteke yesterday became the second most expensive signing in the history of Liverpool Football Club.
But all anyone seemed to care about was his trousers.
The Belgium international arrived from Aston Villa in a £32.5m deal and once everything was finalised he was taken around the club's training ground for a few pictures.
Benteke was sporting jeans along with a Liverpool jersey bearing his name for the shots, but it was noted that not only was the 24-year-old casually dressed, he appeared to have come straight from doing some painting and decorating.
Specks and white and red paint were clearly visible on Benteke's trousers.

At least the white and red match the colours of his new team, but it still left some confused.
Fancy Benteke wearing the trousers he wore to paint his house in at his unveiling as a Liverpool player

@mrjakehumphrey was Benteke painting his house before signing? Looks like the lad has paint splattered all over his trousers.

Looking at his trousers, I think the delay to Benteke signing must have been down to him putting a coat of magnolia in his new house!

Clearly works very hard. Been decorating in those jeans. Good luck, Benteke. pic.twitter.com/Idj3IdP0sW
