Chrissy Teigen shares daughter's priceless response to breast implant reduction

Kids always say the darndest things, as Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's three-year-old Luna Stephens recently proved.

Chrissy had her breast implants removed earlier this week, but she said the "best part" was her daughter's hilarious notes.

A month before the surgery, the 34-year-old took to Instagram to say: "Hi hi! So I posted myself getting a Covid test on the twitter, as I’m getting surgery soon. A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!

"They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it.

Luna wrote: "Bye boobies" in one get well soon card and "Have fun pulling your boobies out. Love Luna" in the other (@chrissyteigen/Twitter)

"I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort!

"No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat."

A few days after her surgery Chrissy took to Instagram to tell fans: "surgery went perfectly!"

Alongside the update she also shared a few hilariously sweet cards that her children made for her and admitted: "The note I woke up to is the absolute best part."

One note read: "Bye boobies."

The other said: "Have fun pulling your boobies out. Love Luna."

The post received 1.2 million likes and comments from a number of famous faces, including Reese Witherspoon who wrote: "Kids are the best!"

Halle Berry also said: "OMG" with a laughing emoji.

And Modern Family star Jesse Tyler joked: "Bye Boobies!"

Chrissy told Glamour UK : "Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old.

"It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed."

In March of this year, Chrissy marked her "10-year anniversary" since getting her breast augmentation, where she opted to keep the same cup size and instead filled them out so they were rounder and firmer.

But added: "I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every ten years.
