Chrissy Teigen found herself having to switch hospital rooms after mistakenly publishing the ward's telephone number on the internet.
The 34-year-old, who is expecting her third child with husband John Legend, was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles just hours after she complained of being “bored” stuck at home.
However, the models ennui was short lived as she documented her time in hospital on her Instagram Stories, and accidentally shared her room’s telephone number to her 31 million followers – prompting several concerned phone calls.
Thanking her fans on Twitter, Teigen wrote: “Lol I accidentally posted the phone number to my hospital room on Instagram so I have to move, I appreciate the phone calls though you little sweetie pies!”
Teigen had taken to her Instagram Stories to explain she had come to hospital after a month of continuous bleeding, with the star describing the flow as if "a faucet had been turned down to low" and left to run.
She also shared pictures of Legend, 41, visiting her and photos of her hospital food.
The news comes after Teigen announced she was stepping back from all of her current work commitments temporarily, after her latest pregnancy was ruled high-risk. At the time, the star stated she was “devastated” by the diagnosis.
Teigen has been vocal about her pregnancy struggles, previously explaining that while she was expecting with Luna, four, and two-year-old Miles that her placenta failed to nourish them properly, resulting in her being induced both times.
The Chrissy’s Court star previously revealed in August that she is expecting a baby boy, with Legend also discussing more about the couple’s surprise pregnancy.
“We had struggled to conceive naturally all this time and figured it would never happen,” he told Cosmopolitan UK.
“We thought it couldn’t happen this way and were worried that something would go wrong but, so far, all the tests have come back great and we feel very good.”
