Chrissy Teigen inundated with FaceTime calls after accidentally sharing her email address online

Chrissy Teigen was forced to change her email address after being inundated with FaceTime calls.

The mother-of-two found out the hard way to never post her private information on social media after accidentally sharinng her email address on the internet.

The presenter has uploaded a picture of her MacBook without realising she was logged into her email account, which was visible for her 11.7 million followers to see.

The Bring the Funny star, 33, addressed the blunder in a series of tweets on Tuesday night, explaining that a number of her fans had given her a FaceTime call in hopes that she’d pick up.

Being Teigen, she did answer them, and in one call, the cookbook author and her mother Pepper chatted with a man who called himself Ricardo.

Laughing, she said: “Hi, Ricardo, nice to meet you. This is my mum. Thanks for calling me!”

When Ricardo asked how they were, the Lip Synch Battle star replied: “We’re good, we’re about to eat dinner but just thought we’d answer one of these.”

Teigen admitted to being pleasantly taken aback at the positive nature of the calls.

The 33-year-old said: “Oh my god people are FaceTiming me. Was 100% sure this would be a penis but nope just a nice stranger.”
